Upper Silesian - Zagłębie Metropolis undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its mobile application in accordance with the Act of April 4, 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities.
The Accessibility Declaration applies to the mobile application Transport GZM.

Digital Accessibility Status
This mobile application does not comply with the annex to the Act of April 4, 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the non-compliances and exceptions listed below.
Inaccessible Content
Non-compliance with the annex
- Some graphics do not have appropriate alternative text;
- Some decorative graphics do not have properly formatted alternative text;
- The registration form includes CAPTCHA protection;
- Some labels are incorrectly linked to form fields;
- In parts of the application, the header structure is incorrect;
- It is not possible to display content in landscape orientation;
- Some text lacks sufficient contrast;
- Some non-text elements lack sufficient contrast;
- It is not possible to operate the application using a keyboard due to the lack of a clearly visible focus on all elements;
- It is not possible to extend the time for scanning the QR code;
- The application contains automatically changing content. There is no possibility to pause it;
- Some buttons do not have appropriate labels informing the user about their purpose;
- Not all interactive elements have a clearly visible keyboard focus;
- There is no validation of input data in the form;
- There is no accessible information about incorrectly entered data in the login form.

We prepared the declaration based on an assessment conducted by Utilitia Sp. z o.o. for Digital Accessibility.
The results of the assessment are presented in the Audit Report.
Facilities, limitations and other information
We inform you that we are currently undergoing development activities involving the released mobile application. Upon completion of these works, the highest possible level of compliance with the WCAG 2.1 standard will be achieved.

Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility of this mobile application or its elements.

- a description of the problem and the way of its resolution that would be most convenient for you.
We will respond to your submission as soon as possible, no later than within 7 days of its receipt.
If this deadline is too short for us, we will inform you about it. In this information, we will provide a new deadline by which we will correct the reported errors or prepare the information in an alternative way. This new deadline will not exceed 2 months.
If we are unable to ensure the digital accessibility of the mobile application or content indicated in your request, we will offer you alternative access.
Handling of requests and complaints related to accessibility
If in response to your request for ensuring digital accessibility, we refuse to provide the accessibility you requested, and you disagree with this refusal, you have the right to file a complaint.
You also have the right to file a complaint if you do not agree to use the alternative method of access that we proposed in response to your request for ensuring digital accessibility.

Architectural Accessibility
The seat of the Metropolitan Office of the Upper Silesian - Zagłębie Metropolis in Katowice is located in the building at ul. Barbary 21A, 40-053 Katowice. The coordinator for architectural, digital, and informational-communicational accessibility is Małgorzata Połap, e-mail: m.polap@metropoliagzm.pl, phone +48 32 718 07 65. The Upper Silesian - Zagłębie Metropolis building has 3 entrances – the main one from ul. Hercena, a side one from ul. Hercena, and a rear one from ul. Szmausa. All entrances have stairs. Steps of the entrance stairs are marked with contrasting strips. Stairs throughout the building are equipped with handrails. People in wheelchairs can access the ground floor with the help of stair platforms. The main entrance is intended for visitors. The glass doors of the main entrance are marked with contrasting tapes. Corridors and rooms throughout the building are accessible to people in wheelchairs. There is a lift on the ground floor designed for people with disabilities. The lift is equipped with voice announcements and has buttons marked with Braille. On the ground floor, in the right and left wings of the building, there are toilets for people with disabilities. On the ground floor in the left wing of the building, there is also a room adapted for a mother with a child. Three parking spaces for people with disabilities are designated in front of the building. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed to enter the building and all its rooms. The rooms in the building are not marked with plates with raised numbers and Braille, nor are there contrasting or large-print signs for the visually impaired. There are no layout plans of rooms presented with tactile maps in the building. No audible navigation systems for the blind are used in the building. The institution’s building contains arrows or illuminated signs indicating evacuation directions.
Communication and Informational Accessibility
A person interested in handling an official matter with the assistance of a sign language interpreter is obliged to report this fact at least 2-3 working days before the planned date of the matter’s handling.
