PLK S.A. investment "Śląskie na nowe trach" - today about changes related to the reconstruction of the viaduct on Mikołowska Street in Katowice.
On October 7, the next stage of the reconstruction of viaducts in Katowice will begin. The passage under the facility on Mikołowska Street will be closed. This requires changes to many bus routes:
0, 9, 10, 11, 12, 27, 37, 43, 45, 46, 48, 50, 51, 61, 110, 115, 120, 130, 133, 154, 177, 193, Z210, 296, 297, 600, 632, 657, 672, 674, 689, 880, 900, 910, 911, 930, 940, M1, M2, M3, M4, M10, M12, M13, M22, M25, M101, 1N, 7N, 130N, 297N, 657N, 672N, 840N, 905N.
From the Katowice Dworzec stop, we will depart from different stations than before. We will open new stops: Katowice Skłodowskiej Dworzec 01, 02, 03, 04, Katowice Pl. Miarki 02 and 03, Katowice Pl. Miarki 05, Katowice Kopernika Dworzec 02. A temporary bus station will be built at the Katowice Andrzeja Dworzec, Katowice Kopernika Dworzec, Katowice Skłodowskiej Dworzec and Katowice Pl. Miarki stops.
The detour routes will run as follows:
lines 9, 10, 12, M10, M12 and 297N towards Sądowa will go along Mikołowska Street, through Katowice Kopernika Dworzec, Miarki Square, the underground station and to Sądowa. Towards the A4 motorway and Brynow from the underground station, through Miarki Square, Katowice Kopernika Station and onto Mikołowska Street.
Lines 11, 177, 193, 296, 657 towards Plac Wolności will go via Mikołowska Street, Katowice Kopernika Station, Miarki Square, the underground station and onto Plac Wolności. Towards Mikołowska Street from the Katowice Sądowa stop, through the underground station, Miarki Square, Katowice Kopernika Station and onto Mikołowska Street.
Lines 37, 48, 632 towards the centre of Katowice will be directed from Mikołowska Street via Katowice Kopernika Station, Miarki Square, Katowice Andrzeja Station and onto Katowice Skłodowskiej Station. Towards Mikołowska Street via Katowice Skłodowskiej Station, Katowice Kopernika Station and onto Mikołowska Street.
lines 115, 297, 130N, 657N, 905N towards the underground station will go via Mikołowska Street, Katowice Kopernika Dworzec, Miarki Square and to the station. To Mikołowska Street, the above-mentioned lines will go via the underground station, Miarki Square, Katowice Kopernika Dworzec.
Other routes will also be used by buses of lines M10, 12, 45, 46, 51, 154, 672, 689, 900 and 672N.
Buses no. 43 and 133 will run on new routes. On the section between Katowice and Wojkowice, the routes will be changed from circular to bidirectional. The stops served by the lines will also change.
