Transport of GZM and ŚKUP
1. Creating an account in the Transport GZM System is possible by importing data from the ŚKUP system (for those who have a ŚKUP card). The data import only includes the user’s personal details (first name, last name, PESEL number). Other data, such as address (if defined), tickets, and discounts are not transferred to the new system. The migration of tickets and discounts is planned for the next phase in the autumn of this year.
2. The Transport GZM System will operate independently of the ŚKUP system, meaning that discounts and tickets encoded on the card will not be visible in the Transport GZM System. Similarly, tickets and defined discounts purchased in the Transport GZM System will not be visible in the ŚKUP system. These are two independent systems operating concurrently during the transitional period.
3. The electronic money stored on the ŚKUP card can be used for distance-based fares and for purchasing tickets in the ŚKUP system. This money cannot be used in the Transport GZM System. Likewise, money available in the user’s account in the Transport GZM System can be used there, but it cannot be used in the ŚKUP system.
4. The distance-based fare is only available in the ŚKUP system. In the Transport GZM System, we are preparing a similar solution, which will be available in the autumn of this year.
5. The migration of the ŚKUP system data to the Transport GZM System will occur when the ŚKUP system is decommissioned (in the autumn of this year). At that time, all ŚKUP user accounts along with their recorded discounts and tickets will be automatically transferred to the Transport GZM System. The only tickets that will not be transferred to the new system are single-use tickets; refunds for these tickets can be obtained at ZTM.
6. If your ŚKUP card expires and you want to continue using public transportation, we recommend setting up an account in the new Transport GZM System. It is still possible to obtain a new card, but given the imminent decommissioning of the ŚKUP system, we do not recommend this option.
7. Setting up an account on a phone follows the principle of only one user per phone, similar to banking applications. This is for security reasons (account creation on the portal and logging in on a specific phone and application).
8. You can create an account in the system via the Customer Portal (transportgzm.pl) or the Transport GZM Mobile Application.
Only one account can be created from a single phone in the system. This approach is frequently used in banking applications and allows us to better protect your data and funds stored in your Transport GZM System account.
One phone can only serve as the identifier for a single account. So, for example, if you want to give your phone to your child to use their own Transport GZM account, you must log out of the application and uninstall it from the device. After reinstalling the application, you can log in or create a new account. From that moment on, the phone will act as the identifier for that account.
